FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between a licensed midwife and an OB?
Licensed midwives and OBs both provide comprehensive obstetric care throughout the childbearing year. OBs are trained surgeons based out of the hospital and are best suited for caring for high-risk pregnancies, whereas licensed midwives practice outside of the hospital and are trained to care for those who are low-risk.
